John Veilleux, a fourth-generation bricklayer and stone mason, began his apprenticeship with his father and grandfather at the age of 13. During his summer school vacations, he assisted his father in laying bricks and stones. After over four decades of experience as a mason, John Veilleux remains the primary hands-on professional responsible for all brick and stone work. He consistently strives for perfection and prioritizes customer satisfaction, recognizing the significance of achieving an exceptional outcome for all involved in each project.
Skip founded Spiritcraft Furniture and Great Spirit Hardwoods in 2008 after years of self-taught furniture making, design and precision joinery as a stress relief hobby during his decades-long career as a real estate development executive.
His background in real estate development from site acquisition to planning to oversight of budgets, materials selection and project managers oversight has been valuable knowledge for the growth of the Spiritcraft Group. The Spiritcraft group has grown into a renowned national supplier of quality finished solid wood products and premium kiln dried hardwood & decking materials to residential and commercial clients.
Today, Skip oversees all hardwood and finished wood products production and oversees installations of Spiritcraft’s solid wood tops, cladding products, faux columns and everything in between. Skip is also an avid fine art landscape photographer, featured at archival-prints.com.
